To understand the biomes of this planet, we need to know that this planet does not rotate about its own axis. So, this planet has two sides: a very hot side which is always facing the Azara star, and the dark and cold side. The "hot side"  is a nasty place, and life there is practically impossible, the atmosphere is very destroyed and does not protect the surface of the planet. 

We are going to focus in the biomes and ecosystems of the cold side because there is where there is life and where everything is calm.  Temperatures are very low, but animals and plants are adapted to this environment. The surface of the planet is all made of crystal, and above the crystal there is snow. The sky is barely visible, because of the giant trees that keep the temperatures suitable for life.  There are three basic ecosystems:

 

• The ecosystem under the trees: this place is like a big and very cold forest. The only difference with actual forest is that this ecosystem has one giant tree per each 3 of 4 square kilometers;

•  The ecosystem that we find in the plateaus (these ones, are above the trees, is where you can see the sky and observe the stars),: this place is extremely cold, it is like an arctic tundra. 

• The lakes: there are two types of lakes; one is made of water but the surface is frozen and the other one are “snow ashes lakes”, made of ashes of snow, and other toxic elements.
